Veterans Upward Bound Eligibility Requirements
If you meet the following criteria you may qualify for the program:
- Veterans must have been other than dishonorably discharged and must have served for more than 180 days of active duty with at least a portion after January 31, 1955
- AND
- Veterans must be a first-generation college student, meaning neither parent has a four-year baccalaureate degree or Veterans or be classified as low-income with a taxable family income that does not exceed 150 percent of the poverty level as established by the U.S. Department of Health and Hospitals (see table below).
