STAR
Science and Technology Awards for Research
The Science and Technology Awards for Research (STAR)
program seeks to enhance undergraduate education by
providing funding for students to become engaged in research projects
carried out in collaboration with a faculty member in the
College of Science and Technology. STAR is a coordinated
effort to provide undergraduates with access to on-campus
research and creative work opportunities. Proposals (which
may be submitted by an individual
student or a team of students) must be
approved by a faculty sponsor and that
student’s department head.
