About Us

Northshore School of the Arts

About Us

Welcome to the Northshore School of the Arts (NSA) website. The NSA offers college-level music, theatre and visual arts courses to high school juniors and seniors on our main campus and through our satellite centers.  Our offerings include applied music lessons for all instruments and voice, music theory courses, art foundation courses, and a theatre foundation course. We also offer non-credit summer workshops for all high school students.
Our goal is to help committed arts students obtain a quality college experience in courses with low student-teacher ratios. After successfully completing the NSA course(s), you could potentially be transitioned into an arts curriculum or earn elective credit before you enroll as a college student. Once you see what the NSA and Southeastern has to offer, I feel confident you will agree that our faculty, campus and satellite center facilities will enhance your artistic creativity and applied technical skills, while offering you the chance to explore a professional career in the arts or to prepare auditions and portfolios for scholarship applications.
Southeastern offers numerous cultural events and programs. Attend music and dramatic arts performances, visit our Contemporary Art Gallery, watch our Emmy award winning television station (The Southeastern Channel), or listen to our radio station (KSLU) to get a glimpse of why Southeastern students are so motivated and passionate about the arts at Southeastern.
I also encourage you to contact me with questions or select the SUBSCRIBE link to receive updated information as we grow.
