Students are placed in Saturday classes based on their current academic schedule following TOPS Core Curriculum guidelines.

A typical Saturday schedule for students is a follows:

Freshmen

Sophomores

• Geometry

Juniors

• Algebra II
• ACT Math

Seniors

• College Math 92, 155, 161 and Pre 165
• College English 90, 101 and Pre 102
• ACT Math
• ACT English
• ACT Reading
• ACT Science
• Math and Science Laboratory and Project-based courses

Students who are meeting minimum GPA, GEE and ACT score requirements may take one or two of the following 2 hour laboratory classes beginning in their Sophomore year as a substitute for a core class:

• Chemistry
• Ecology
• Engineering
• Molecular Biology
• Other Courses as Available

Summer Program

Students are placed in Summer academic courses based on their academic schedule in the upcoming school year following TOPS Core Curriculum guidelines. They are placed in mentoring and cultural courses based on their interests

Scientific Research and Mentoring courses may include: Ecology, Engineering, Forensics, Industrial Chemistry, Media Quest, Molecular Biology, Nursing, Physics, Southeastern Channel and other courses as available.

Cultural courses may include: Aerobics, Art, Choir (Glee, Gospel), Dance (Modern, Step), Drama, Journalism, P.E./Health & Fitness, Public Speaking, Scrapbooking and other classes as available.

Bridge Students:
During the transition summer between high school graduation and college entry, students entering their freshman year in college will be enrolled in up to 9 credit hours of college courses.
