How does the leadership ensure a safe and orderly environment for students and staff?
Leadership ensures a safe and orderly environment for students and staff by following safety protocols. Facilities and equipment are monitored and inspected to ensure the Lab School is equipped to provide a safe up to date learning facility. School rules, regulations, and procedures are clearly written and readily available. Safety drills are conducted on a routine basis by qualified individuals. Faculty and staff are aware of and are a part of the crisis management team. Documentation such as: University quarterly safety reports, crisis management plans, rules and regulations are kept up to date and are easily referenced. All visitors to the Lab School sign in and out at the front office and are easily identified with Visitor badges.
