Parent Teacher Organization
The Southeastern Lab School PTO promotes close cooperation between Lab School families and the faculty and staff of the Lab School. We work hand in hand to make our school the best it can be for our children.
The Lab School PTO is made of several different committees. These committees and the members of each are:
Executive
The executive committee oversees the organization and operation of the association.

T-Shirt Sales
This committee is in charge of gathering orders for school t-shirts, placing the orders, and distributing the shirts. This is usually done twice a year.
Members are: Kristi Ledford, Jackie Martinez, Tammy Mitchell, Melanie Jarreau, Kristin Bluain, and Kristen Kudr.
Winter Carnival
This committee is in charge of organizing the school's annual carnival.
Members are: Cassie and Tom Ragan, Lorett Swank, Tiny and Steve Leon, Charlotte Carson, Jackie Martinez, Blair Edwards, Terri Roussel, Caroline Bankston, Jodie Powell, Rebekah McAllister, Shaunta Cox, Rebecca DePaula, Leigh Ann Lanaux, Moncia Echols, Carol Tate, Heather Bond, Heidi Lobb, JacLyn Owenby, Amber DeJean, Angela Loving, Tracy Williams, and Lois Golden.
Sims Art Reception Refreshments
This committee plans and organizes the refreshment table for the school's annual art show, held in the spring of each year.
Members are: Danielle Ridgel, Terri Roussel, Pam Mashon, Heather Bond, Amy and Danny Acosta, Mallika DeAlwis, Tametra Spears, Michelle Howes, Dwan Mabry, Jackie riffith, JacLyn Owenby, Sandra Davis, and Blair Edwards.
World's Finest Chocolate Sales
This committee is in charge of organizing the annual chocolate fundraiser, a favorite amongst students.
Members are: Terri Munkres, Tammie Schexnayder, and Angela Loving.
Young Author's Reception
This committee puts together the reception for our school's Young Author's Contest winners, their families, and the faculty and staff.
Members are: Pam Bentivegna, Karla Wyld, Heather O'Connell, Blair Edwards, and Ronald Jackson.
End of the Year Breakfast
This committee plans and organizes our annual end of the year breakfast.
Members are: Tiny Leon, Mallika DeAlwis, Tammy Heig, Jeanie Hawkins, Pam Bentivegna, Jackie Griffith, Carol Tate, Tammy Mitchell, Janet Moran, Frances Crockerham, Alice Gibson, Blair Edwards, and Centry Vernon.
Veteran's Day Reception
This committee plans and organizes refreshments for our annual Veteran's Day program, held in November of each year.
Members are: Karla Wyld, Monica Echols, and Blair Edwards.
Teacher Appreciation
This committee organizes and carries out plans to thank our teachers during teacher appreciation week, usually held the spring.
Members are: Heather Bond, Heather O'Connell, Angela Loving, Leigh Ann Lanaux, Caroline Bankston, Christie Cooper, Tammy Heig, Dwan Mabry Hill, Blair Edwards, Mary Palomino, Melanie Jarreau, Rebecca DePaula, Carol Tate, Janet Moran, Centry Vernon, Dawn Byers, and Amber DeJean.
School Supply Packets
This committee gathers school supply lists from teachers and orders from families, places orders, and distributes supplies each year.
Members are: Melissa Triay, Bryant Caruso, Jeanie Hawkins, Shawn Messina, Michelle Howes, and Rebecca DePaula.
Lunch Room Monitors
This committee helps out in the cafeteria during lunch when needed.
Members are: Heather Kemp, Lois Golden, and Dawn Byers.
