Welcome to Southeastern Louisiana University’s Laboratory School Learning Resource Center. We are very unique, as we are located in the center of the Charles E. Cate Teacher Education Center and provide services to the Laboratory School family as well as to the faculty, staff, and students of Southeastern’s College of Education and Human Development.
The purpose of the Southeastern Laboratory School’s Learning Resource Center is to promote a love of reading to our patrons as we provide them with the programs, services, and materials that they need to teach and learn on a daily basis. We support the curriculum of the Lab School with many different information sources and teach our students to be effective users of ideas and information.

The L.R.C. is open from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 7:30 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Lab School students are encouraged to visit the library after school hours but must be accompanied by an adult if they do.
