Dr. Fawn Ukpolo, Director
Dr. Fawn Ukpolo, the Director of Southeastern Lab School, was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. She joined the Army at the age of 18 and began her educational career. She holds an Associate Degree from the University of Hawaii and Bachelors, Masters and Educational Specialists Degrees from Austin Peay State University. Her Doctorate is from Tennessee State University. Prior to assuming her duties at the Lab School, she taught in the College of Education at LSU, California State University in Los Angeles, and at Austin Peay. Dr. Ukpolo started her teaching career as a middle school science teacher. She is married to Dr. Victor Ukpolo. They have three children and reside in New Orleans.
