About Graduate Business Programs
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Southeastern Louisiana University prepares students for positions of leadership, both in business and in government. In a competitive and changing environment, the MBA-degree provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully in today's marketplace. MBA candidates are trained to critically analyze and consider strategic implications of decisions, to be forward thinkers, and to be effective leaders.
The Southeastern Louisiana University MBA program is a contemporary curriculum which stresses practical aspects of business leadership and is built on a commitment to excellence. Designed in 1969, the MBA program has evolved into a highly respected course of study which is recognized not only within the state of Louisiana but also across the nation and across US borders.
The Executive Master of Business ( EMBA) program is a conceptual, yet practical program leading the MBA degree. The curriculum covers the general business subjects required for the MBA degree; however, it is not restricted by traditional academic boundaries regarding credit hours and semesters. Both the MBA and undergraduate business programs are nationally accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business ( AACSB).
