Introduction to Welding for the Non-Welder

Course Overview:

Introduction, safety, and setup of oxyfuel and SMAW (stick) equipment. Student will work in the flat position using plain carbon steel. Also introduction to GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG).

*Students must provide personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, welding shirt, jeans, leather shoes/boots, and welding gloves.
