Court Reporting: Voice Writers
Course Overview:
This 90 hour program is designed to prepare a student for the state licensing exam and for entry-level employment as a court reporter. Dictation, computer, and word processing skills are developed throughout the course. The course is a hands-on development plan with exposure to actual court reporting situations. Students will need a laptop computer with 2 GB capacity.

| Materials: | Of the $4290 material fee, $2,600 can be paid monthly through special arrangement with Instructors. The remainer of materials can be charged on your personal credit card. Materials include WordPerfect software ($100), specialized training on computer software ($2,000), VOCEdit Reporter's software($1,300), book fee, reference materials, and professional speakers (includes lawyer, RN nurse, transcriptionist, and IT professional) ($600), foot pedal ($70), Stenomask ($220). |

One day a week for 3 hours for 90 hours, plus a one hour pre-test on July 29th. From August 26 through to December 9, class held on Mondays from 6-9 pm. From Jan 23 through May 8, class held on Thursdays from 6-9 pm.
