Course Overview:

 

Project Management Fundamentals is a two day workshop designed to prepare project managers and others planning to pursue a career in project management with the skills and tools necessary to successfully plan, manage, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

“Project Management Fundamentals highlights the five project management process groups Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closing) and their interaction with the nine project management knowledge areas (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, and Procurement),” said Miller. “Areas of emphasis will include: creating a scope statement and work breakdown structure (WBS), estimating, project scheduling, Earned Value Management, communications management and risk management.”
