Learning Assistance Programs:
Supplemental Instruction (SI) and Tutoring
The Center for Student Excellence offers Learning Assistance Programs for all currently enrolled Southeastern students.
Learning Assistance programs are designed do the following:
- To serve students in a supportive manner in a safe learning enviroment
- To challenge all students to become engaged in the learning process
- To foster academic confidence
- To demonstrate course specific study skills that are transferable to related courses
- To overcome test anxiety
- To model study group formation and operation
- To improve academic success
- To use available resources
