Lions Athletics Career Network
The demands of being both a student and an athlete can leave little time for finding job experience. What the athlete needs to realize is that participation in Division-I athletics is very much like holding a job. In athletics the following qualities/skills are found most often in participants and can be transferred to any job situation.

Helping student-athletes establish a relationship with employers and assisting student-athletes in finding internships and part-time employment during their
undergraduate years and full-time positions upon graduation is a main focus of the
network. In an effort to achieve this, we have created an Athlete Resume Book in Career Services where athletes may post their resumes. Once you create an account,
you will see "Athlete Resume Book." Employers or Alumni can ask Career Services to
send the Southeastern Athlete Resume book to them when looking for potential employees.
By connecting student-athletes with businesses, we hope to establish a vast network
of internship and employment opportunities for Southeastern student-athletes.
Southeastern Alumni also have the unique opportunity to interact with student-athletes, serving as professional mentors for the student athletes and identifying potential interns, part-time or full-time employees.
Help us build champions and help Lion Athletes meet their carrer goals.
