Incumbent Worker Training Program
Southeastern Louisiana University participates in the incumbent worker training program which is a program designed to benefit business and industry by providing customized training to existing employees in order to update skills, increase overall company productivity, create new jobs, and increase the wages of the participants. The program is also designed to prevent job loss caused by obsolete skills, technological change, or national or global competition. Interested businesses should call the Continuing Education Office at 1-800-256-2771 or 985-549-2301 to check for eligibility to participate in this program. Southeastern is eager to hear from any business who would qualify for this program or who may be interested in any type of corporate or professional development training.
