Visual Resources Library
Department of Visual Arts
The Visual Resources Library, located in East Stadium Annex, is home to over 65,000 slides previously used for teaching by studio and art history faculty. The Visual Resources Coordinator is in a continuing process of digitizing images, cataloging those images and developing a digital library of images available to the entire university community. In addition the VRL houses a number of CD’s, DVD’s, books and periodicals and serves as an archive of images of work by graduating seniors, and videos of visiting speakers.
Services currently offered to university faculty and students are:
- MDID digital image database a digital database of over 8,000 digital images: https://mdid2.selu.edu (After your first login with your W# and e-mail password, please notify the Visual Resources Coordinator, Lynda Katz, via e-mail at lkatz@selu.edu for full privileges.)
