Digital Art

Digital Art stresses contemporary artistic expression using digital technology. Our program takes a fine arts and experimental approach to the creation of art using the computer:
Beginning coursework introduces digital image making, 3-D modeling, rapid prototyping, animation, interactive multimedia, internet technologies, and other contemporary computer art techniques. In subsequent classes students are encouraged to explore media and materials outside of their focus and discover ways to integrate digital technologies into those disciplines.
Students are provided with professional software packages and have access to networked workstations, 3D print systems, large-format color printers, and numerous computer peripherals.
