Irene Nero

Irene Nero teaches survey level and upper level Nineteenth Century, Modern and Contemporary Art History classes. Dr. Nero holds an Interior Design degree as well as a B.A., M.A., and Doctorate in the Philosophy of Art and Art History.

Her research interests are two-fold. She explores the interdisciplinary relationships and reciprocity of art and technology within painting, sculpture, and architecture. Second, she researches the relationships between spirituality and technology in early modern art, particularly those found in the works of the German Expressionists.
