Dale Newkirk’s artwork as been exhibited throughout the United States and abroad. Recent exhibitions include: the 2006 Southeastern Exhibition at the Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile Alabama, Liberty and Security in a Post 9/11 World at the Pool Art Center of Drury University in Springfield Missouri and In Recovery, Northern Kentucky University Art Gallery, Highland Heights, Kentucky, Power: Sex, Politics. And the Pursuit of Global Domination, Florida State University, Museum of Fine Arts, Tallahassee Florida.

Professor Newkirk is the Director of the Southeastern Contemporary Art Gallery and the SIMS Gallery on the Southeastern Louisiana University Campus and teaches sculpture. He held teaching positions at New Mexico State University and Indiana University.
