Reconnect
Reconnect provide students with an opportunity to help educate the campus community about environmental and sustainability issues while connecting with other student groups (both internal and external to Southeastern) who share common goals and assist in the greening of Southeastern and the community at large.
The group attends local and nationwide events like the environmental community organizing
conference, Powershift, in Washington D.C. and Tulane’s Environmental Law and Policy
Conference. In addition, it participates in programs like Green Light New Orleans,
Keep Hammond Beautiful trash pick-up days, Southeastern's recycling program, and Earth
Day activities. The group can be found on Facebook.
