Dr. Janiece Luedeke holds the BM degree from Lawrence Conservatory of Music, the MM from the University of Akron and the DMA from Louisiana State University. She has performed in master classes with Frøydis Ree Wekre, Dale Clevenger and Barry Tuckwell. Dr. Luedeke was a featured soloist at the 1999 Southeast Horn Conference. She has performed professionally with the Ohio Ballet Orchestra, the Akron Symphony Orchestra and the Ohio Light Opera Orchestra. Her principal teachers include: Seth Orgel, Bruce Heim, Roland Pandolfi, Rick Seraphinoff (natural horn), Richard Norem William Hoyt, Cynthia Carr and Ralph Pottle. Dr. Ludecke currently performs with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra of Lafayette, LA, the Natchez Summer Opera and the Louisiana Brass.

Dr. Luedeke was Instructor of High Brass at Malone College in Canton, OH and was the Brass Methods instructor at the Lawrence Conservatory. She has taught public school extensively in Wisconsin and in East Baton Rouge Parish. She is currently teaching in the Gifted and Talented Program in East Baton Rouge Parish and has recently been appointed as the Horn Instructor at Southeastern Louisiana University.
