Kay Schepker, mezzo-soprano, is a lecturer in the Department
of Fine and Performing Arts and teaches applied voice and class voice. Mrs. Schepker completed a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from Southeastern Louisiana University where she was a student of Scharmal Schrock and a Master of Music degree in vocal performance from Florida State University where she studied with Yvonne Ciannella. She also completed a Masters degree in Arts Administration from Florida State University. Mrs. Schepker has performed numerous opera including, Marcellina, Le Nozze di Figaro; Prince Orlofsky, Die Fledermaus; Hippolyta, A Midsummer Nights Dream; Dorabella, Cosi fan Tutte; Mrs. McLean, Susannah, and Sorceress, Dido and Aeneas. Mrs. Schepker is also on the voice faculty for Southeastern's Community Music School. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
