Guitarist, David Bryan joined the faculty of Southeastern
Louisiana University in the fall of 2008 as Lecturer of Guitar. He holds a bachelor
of music and master of music degree in classical guitar performance from Southeastern
Louisiana University where he studied under Mr. Patrick Kerber.
Mr. Bryan instructs the folk guitar, classical guitar, and computer applications courses and has been a member of the SLU community music school faculty since 2004. He has performed as a soloist and as a member of the quartet Guitar Louisiane from 2006-2009. Guitar Louisiane appeared in concert across the state of Louisiana and by invitation at the University of Southern California. Mr. Bryan is also a sought after accompanist and has performed with the SLU Concert Choir, the Northshore Performing Arts Society, and Soprano, Jessica Bryan.
Mr. Bryan is also an accomplished arranger for the guitar. In 2011, his arrangements of Away in a Manger and Carol of the Bells were recorded by world renowned guitar quartet The Romeros.
