Music 151 is available online! Music 151NT is SELU's music appreciation course for non-music-majors. Like all sections of Mus 151, students enrolled in the Internet version use a required textbook and accompanying set of CDs. The course is organized into units which generally parallel the chapters in the textbook. There are objective assignments based on these units due weekly. Students also participate in group discussions which provide an interactive component. These discussions are the online equivalent of "class participation." Music 151NT is fast-paced and very enjoyable for students who are highly motivated and have good time management skills. Non-traditional students, especially those who find it difficult to attend conventional lecture courses due to work and/or personal schedules, are also encouraged to consider enrolling in this class.
Note: permission of the instructor is required to enroll in Music 151NT.
