Faculty

Resources and Research

Finance faculty continue to be campus leaders in classroom innovation, scholarship, and service to the university and community.

    • A finance lab was established in Garrett Hall, Room 86, and provides students with access to Bloomberg and Crystal Ball financial trading software.

    • In the lab, faculty emphasize practical learning. Students select a stock portfolio in support of the Hayward Gibbes Fund, which is valued at about $800,000. A competition is then organized in which each participant invests $100,000 in the market over the course of a semester.
