Health Education and Promotion
The Health Education and Promotion program at Southeastern Louisiana University is the only program of its kind in south Louisiana. The purpose of the Health Education and Promotion program is to prepare students to work in the field of public health. Students will have an opportunity to work with nationally known faculty, participate in student research, and travel to professional conferences. Graduates of our program the prerequisite skills necessary to become a Certified Health Education Specialist and develop effective health education and promotion programs throughout the state and nation.
Catalogue requirements for 2004-2005, 2005-06, 2006-07, and 2007-2008 are available on the web. Students are responsible for program requirements for their catalog year. One's catalog year is the year in which one declared the major, unless it has been more than seven years or the student has not attended Southeastern for a full calendar year.
