Student Organizations in Kinesiology and Health Studies



Student organizations in Kinesiology and Health Studies are an integral part of professional education.  These groups provide opportunities for students to develop leadership skills which they can use after graduation, and a means of gaining knowledge beyond the classroom through meetings and conferences.  These organizations are:

 

PETE (Physical Education Teacher Education Club)

Membership in this organization is open to all teacher education majors in the Kinesiology and Health Studies department. 

Faculty Advisor:  Dee Hurtt

Membership Dues:  $15.00

Meeting Info:  Mondays or Wednesdays at 12:00 noon in the KHS building
                          (Check PETE bulletin board for exact time & place)

SMA (Sport Management Association)

OHPE (Organization for Health Promotion and Education)
