Made 60 presentations at professional meetings, wrote 10 refereed articles, published two books (running/fitness), and completed two chapters for book manuals distributed by the Louisiana Department of Education. Publications where refereed articles appeared included Research Quarterly for Exercise & Sport , Strategies, National Association of Laboratory Schools Journal, and Teaching Elementary Physical Education.
Professional service interests in promoting health, physical education, and recreation of individuals with disabilities incommunities, group homes, and institutions.
Past individual sport related honors (running) include All American teams (3), National Championships (2), and 12th place in the Boston Marathon.
