Calendar of Events for Fall 2009- Spring 2010
Sept. 15- 5 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. - Foreign Language Social
Come and enjoy a a great night with fellow students, faculty and staff from the Foreign Language Department. Socialize and eat free pizza and some tasty free drinks! The event will be held in the Student Union Ballroom.
Oct. 27- 12:30-2 p.m.- October Madness
Foreign Language movie that deals with romantic madness. Schedule and presenters is as follows:
- 12:30 p.m.- Romantic Madness (Dr. Lucia Harrison)
- 12:35 p.m.- Between Speech and Song: Mad Ophelia and her Sisters (Dr. Katherin Kolb)
- 1:05 p.m.- The Mad World of Goya (Dr. Marianna Kunow)
Nov. 16- 7 p.m.- International Night
A night in which students display various talents related to the cultures of their Language classes. From singing to dancing and we also offer abundance of international cuisine. For more information contact: Aileen Mootoo (
