Topic: Research Opportunities in Green Energy. Four local experts in this area led a discussion of ongoing and future research directions, with the aim of enriching energy research programs at Southeastern. Clean energy production and energy conservation present numerous scientific and engineering challenges. Research in this area is receiving increasing attention and urgency due to environmental, political, and economic pressures, presenting many federal and state funding opportunities. Four local experts in this area will lead a discussion of ongoing and future research directions, with the aim of enriching energy research programs at Southeastern. Panel members include:

Dr. Cris Koutsougeras, CSIT Department Head, SLU, robotics and energy control systems
