The family studies concentration prepares students to enhance the lives of children and families through research, classroom instruction, and internship experiences.

- Family Services Worker
- Child/Youth Activity Coordinator for Resorts and Cruise Lines
- Marriage Enrichment Programs
- Adult/Elderly Care
- Drug & Alcohol Programs
- Resource Room Teacher
- After School Program Director
- Camp Counselor
- Children's Services
- Children's Museums
- Children's Book Author and/or Editor
- Nanny/Au Pair
- Administrative Positions in Hospitals and Mental Health Centers such as
Volunteer Services and Patient Relations
- Family Advocate Extension Agent (may require a Masters Degree)
