Internship / Service Learning
The Department of Counseling and Human Development emphasizes hands on learning through internships and service learning in all degree programs.
Each student's internship and service learning project is unique to his or her specialized degree program and personal interest. Students provide services in a variety of settings including community educational and counseling agencies, public and private schools, hospitals and substance abuse treatment centers, child welfare and child care agencies, non-profit organizations, and retail environments.
