About the Department

Departmental Overview



The Department of Counseling and Human Development is housed within the College of Education and Human Development.  It is comprised of four different degree programs:

  • Counseling (Graduate Program)
  • Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS)
  • Family and Consumer Sciences Education
  • Social Work
     

Counseling and FCS offer several concentration areas:

  • Counseling:
    • School Counseling
    • Community Counseling
    • Community/Substance Abuse Counseling
    • Marriage and Family Therapy

 

  • Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS):
            • Fashion Merchandising
            • Family Studies
            • Foods and Nutrition
