Communication 616. Communication Training Assessment and Development
This course prepares students to conduct communication skills training programs and covers theories of learning motivation needs assessment, learning environments, and instructional technology.Communication 619. Advanced Interpersonal Communication
This course examines human interaction in relation to an organizations functioning.Communication 620. Organizational Culture and Diversity Issues
This seminar style course examines culture and diversity in the workplace.Communication 621. Organizational Communication Campaigns
Studies communication campaigns and requires students to plan and present their own communication campaign.Communication 625. Ethical and Legal Issues in Organizational Communication
Addresses contemporary issues facing organizations in the legal and ethical fields through the examination of court cases that have shaped present organizational environment.Communication 631. New Technologies and Organizational Communication
Looks at the development of new communication methods with a special focus on the World Wide Web and web site design.Communication 648. Writing for Special Interest and New Media
Students study and practice writing for special audiences, especially executive summaries, memos, niche magazines, trade journals, and news services.Communication 671. Theories of Organizational Communication
Explores the theories and approaches to managing communication in organizations.Communication 691. Research Methods in Organizational Communication
Introduces students to common methods used in the study of communication.
