Undergraduate students John Gaffney and Christopher Schneider made a presentation on the “Comprehensive study on deformation of metal samples based on measurements of temperature, in-plane displacement and stress-strain characteristics,” and undergraduate students Christopher Hill, Richard Williams, John Gaffney, and Christopher Schneider presented work on the “Characterization of 60 Hz environmental electromagnetic noise with a simple antenna” at the American Physics Society meeting in March in New Orleans. There work was directed by Dr. Sani Yoshida and collaborators Satish Shrestha and Giovanni Santostasi from McNeese State. Dr. Sani Yoshida also made a presentation on “Field theoretical approach to deformation dynamics” at the meeting.
