Dr. Gina Little co-organized a Chemistry Day for the Audubon Council Girl Scouts
(Baton Rouge).  The event featured chemistry experiments performed by the
participants and was sponsored by Iota Sigma Pi (ISP) through a grant from the
National Girls Collaborative Project. ISP member and co-organizer, Sharon
Vercellotti wrote the grant proposal.  Two other Southeastern ISP members
participated in the day's events (Dr. Debra Dolliver and Dr. Linda Munchausen).
In all, 7 Girl Scout troops consisting of 36 girls from age 6 to 11,
participated in the activities.
