Expertise/Research Interests: Biochemistry, enzyme kinetics, cloning, protein purification. Currently we are working on the characterization of West Nile Virus RNA Polymerase. This is a collaborative project with Dr. Michael Doughty and is funded by the Louisiana Board of Regents. I am characterizing a yeast enzyme called Glutaminyl cyclase which is a neropeptide-processing enzyme.
