Research Interests: Dr. Kim offers research projects for students in theoretical and computational physics. Current research projects focus on material science using equilibrium and nonequilibrium Molecular Dynamics simulation methods: (1) micellization of small biomolecules and (2) nanoparticle reinforced polymeric materials. Most of the computation is performed using the High Performance Computing resources available at the Louisiana Optical Network Initiative (LONI).
