Research Interests
My current research is focused on phosphorus chemistry. One project we are working on involves the preparation of P-stereogenic chiral organophosphorus compound using phosphotriesterase as a bio-catalyst. The resulting compounds will either be tested directly as organic catalysts or be used as a starting material for other useful synthetic applications. We are also working on construction of some phosphorus compounds or polymers with potential applications.
