Opportunity for

Achievement in

Research

The SOAR program provides opportunities for research experiences at the undergraduate level in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences through the provision of funding, faculty mentoring and the development of research skills.

The SOAR Committee reviews grant proposals for student research projects for each academic year.

Requests for proposals are sent to all faculty and students in the college on or around February 1st via email and to the By-Lion.

SOAR grant proposals, including materials required by the Southeastern Louisiana University Institutional Review Board, are due the first Friday of March each year, unless otherwise stated on the College of Nursing and Health Sciences web page.
