The College of Nursing and Health Sciences strives to provide excellence in education in health, wellness and fitness, speech language pathology, and nursing while meeting the workforce needs of the region and state.  Currently over 2,500 majors are actively involved in innovative curricula that include classroom, clinical, internship and practicum experiences.  Partnerships with over 100 agencies provide our students with diverse practice opportunities.  Graduates of our programs are highly competitive for both employment and graduate study opportunities.

 

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences is comprised of the Departments of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Kinesiology and Health Studies, the School of Nursing and the Vera Thomason Health Center.  Within our College, we offer undergraduate degrees in Nursing, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Athletic Training, Health and Physical Education, Kinesiology, Health Studies, and Health Education and Promotion.  At the graduate level, we offer the Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Health and Kinesiology and Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders degrees.
