Academic Programs:

Radiologic Technology

The Associate of General Studies may also be earned through an affiliation agreement with North Oaks Health System School of Radiologic Technology.  The clinial entry component is extremely competitive, and the completion of the core courses at Southeastern does not guarantee acceptance into the program.  Once enrolled at North Oaks School of Radiologic Technology, students are no longer eligible for financial aid at Southeastern.  If an individual is interested in this program, he/she should consult with the Department Head in Nursing.

Cardiovascular Technology

    Southeastern Louisiana University and Cardiovascular Technology Training Inc. agree to an affiliation for a coordinated curriculum for the Associate of General Studies Degree.  This agreement is established to accomplish the following purposes:
  1. To offer the students at the University another avenue for pursuing the Associate of General Studes Degree;
  2. To offer students at Cardiovascular Technology Training Inc. an avenue to pursue the academic education necessary to obtain a two-year university degree;
  3. To provide Cardiovascular Technology Training Inc. a pool of applicants from which the most qualified may be selected;
  4. To establish formal ties between the two institutions that will permit the coordination of the two programs, thus enhancing the education of future Cardiovscular Technologists.

Please see an advisor with the Division of General Studies for additional information.
