Welcome!

We welcome students with diverse academic pursuits who are interested in bridging the disciplines, widening their personal perspectives and discovering concentrations that fit their interests. 

The General Studies degree emphasizes flexibility.  Some students have multiple interests and don’t want to limit themselves.  Others want to pursue graduate programs and choose a General Studies degree to get the necessary requirements and background knowledge.  Still others are changing majors or have been out of school for quite some time and want to complete a degree for personal satisfaction or job promotion.  Whatever the reason, General Studies advisors will help students set goals and work toward achieving them.
