Exciting times are the rule in Southeastern’s College of Business. From quality degree programs, to its noted James Livingston Lecture Series on Business Ethics, to its real-world partnerships with businesses, to an outstanding Business and Technology Week, to student internships, to exciting study abroad programs, and a host of other outstanding activities, the College of Business believes that learning should be exciting and interesting.
Our efforts to drive the economic viability of Southeastern Louisiana includes an award winning Small Business Development Center that assists businesses in their startup and operations, a biannual Business Breakfast that brings meaningful speakers to the campus and business community, and an Economic Development Summit that develops and coordinates economic development activities. Finally, the Latin American Business and Development Initiative enriches our school by expanding, promoting, and developing relations between the College of Business and the Latin American community. This is essential in order to increase the global competence of our students as they interact with the Hispanic population.
The College of Business offers undergraduate degree programs in accounting, finance, general business, management and marketing. For those desiring two-year degree programs, we offer an Associate of Arts degree in Office Administration. An MBA degree offered either through a quality traditional program or through the Executive MBA program which combines Saturday only classes and Internet offerings is available for those seeking to expand their business knowledge beyond that obtained in a four-year program.
All business programs received accreditation by AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
