The Public Information Office keeps the public informed about Southeastern's programs, faculty, staff and students. This is done through publications, such as Southeastern Magazine, Southeastern Alumni News, the ByLion faculty/staff newsletter, videos, advertising, radio, television, and hundreds of press releases.
Southeastern's public includes faculty, staff and students, as well as alumni, prospective students and their families, donors, foundations, the news media, opinion makers, public officials, other universities, and residents of southeast Louisiana.
Public Information, which is headed by a director who reports to the President, provides the following: News Services, Publications, Photographic/Video Services and Advertising.
We keep the media informed about university programs, events, projects and the accomplishments of our faculty, staff and students.
