program?

A fast track alternative
certification program. Individuals can get certified in 18 months
to three years.

How long has it been around?

The 2002-2002 school
year has been a pilot year statewide for this program. Southeastern
has decided not to continue this program, but instead will be offering
a Master of Arts in Teaching degree to address alternative certification
issues. Other universities throughout the state will be continuing
their practitioner teacher programs.
