Honors Diploma in Communication
For the Honors Diploma in Communication, majors must complete the following requirements:
English 121H (3 hours)English 122H (3 hours)
History 101H (3 hours)
History 102H (3 hours)
Three hours from the following courses:English 291H, English 292H, History 201H, History 202H, Econ 201H, GBio 151H,
Math 161H, Honors 191, Honors 311, Honors 312, Honors 313, or Honors 314.
Nine Hours from the following courses:
Communication 353, 400, 410, 411, 418, 451, 453, 456, 458, 461, 471, or 475 and Honors 300 Senior Thesis. These courses must be completed as an Honors option.
That's a total of 25 hours.
An Honors Diploma in Speech Education is also available. The requirements are the classes noted above plus two additional foreign language courses at the 101 and 102 level for a total of 31 hours.
