
2 + 2 Cooperative Agreement
Southeastern, along with Baton Rouge Community College and Delgado CommunityCollege, have created a seamless transition for students who graduate withan associates degree in designated business programsand want to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Southeastern.
The 2 + 2 program allows students to be pre-admitted to the University and enter Southeastern's
programs in general business, management, marketing, accounting, or finance. After
successfully completingan associate degree in a designatedprogram and meeting other
specified requirements, students enter Southeastern as juniors. Each studentis assigned
a Southeastern faculty advisor whoworks collaboratively with thepartner institutionto
ensure thatthe students progress is tracked and that they are advised appropriately
regarding transfer options.
Southeastern will also provide a $500 scholarship each fall to a successful participating
student enrolling in the university’s College of Business and Technology.
In addition to the business agreement, Southeastern and Baton Rouge Community College offer a similar program in education as well.
