Sharon Hebert Maumus of Mandeville has risen rapidly through the ranks from sales representative or operation sales manager at the Berry Company, the nation’s largest independent Yellow Pages agent. An active undergraduate and graduate student and a trailblazer in study abroad programs, she credits her career success to the skills, knowledge, and confidence she acquired at Southeastern.
“I enjoyed Southeastern’s practical teaching style and close knit group of students, and the faculty offered exceptional one-on-one attention,” Maumus said. “I had the opportunity to study in France and Belgium in an intensive program about European Union business practices. I was also the first Southeastern student to participate in a year- long post-graduate exchange program in Linz, Austria. I attribute much of my success to the experience and skills that I learned at Southeastern.”
