Welcome!

Welcome to the Department of Mathematics at Southeastern Louisiana University! The Department offers a broad range of classes in various mathematical disciplines and has many active research programs. Housed in the new Fayard Hall on the eastern side of Southeastern's main campus, our forty-five faculty serve over 12,000 students each year.

We are a community of learners, educators, and scholars with diverse interests and backgrounds. Through our educational, research, and outreach activities, we strive to help achieve the strategic missions of both the College of Science & Technology and Southeastern Louisiana University. Our main emphasis is on undergraduate mathematics education, research activities by both faculty and students, and service to Southeastern and the community.
